"Why have an office when y'all do absolutely nothing to help your customers? This office and insurance company is the worst office and insurance company I have ever used. Ryan Connor is not trustworthy. Don't trust him or his employees. Let me correct you, Ryan. Your employee was supposed to start my insurance with State Farm on February 13th. Obviously, you forgot our conversation that I had with you concerning the fact that your employee was incompetent and didn't start it the day I requested and made payment. As a reminder to you (and I think this substantiates my claim that you're untrustworthy) I called to discuss this with you because I was involved in that accident 1 day after your employee incorrectly started my coverage. My question to you then was, would State Farm cover me if I had been in an accident between 02/13 - 02/19 because your employee made a mistake. In fact, I made sure y'all went back and started my home insurance & auto insurance on the 13th, because I did not want to have a gap in my coverage. Your suggestion or recommendation was to leave the gap in coverage for home and auto and "save me some money." I thought that was completely unprofessional, but that's why I said you should not be trusted. Maybe a better description would be a dishonest person. Either way, people shouldn't trust you. And secondly, "demanded" might be a stretch, but asked a representative to help me would be my description. This is actually my point of why your customer service is so lackluster. Your employee told me she couldn't do anything. That SF's claim department needs a direct answer from me. She said she couldn't help me. I'm sorry everyone; I'm used to other insurance companies actually helping when you need them. Ryan and SF will gladly accept payments with a smile, but if you actually have a claim, good luck getting any help. I did shut the door because I had to make sure I didn't slam it shut, lol. Finally, so everyone knows the whole story, I switched from Allstate and asked Ryan's employee to do an "apples to apples" comparison and give me a quote. Allstate includes jewelry in their home owners coverage and SF does not. Did the SF agent say anything? Nope! But I guess that's why SF was cheaper! You get what you pay for. Thank you, Ryan. I would greatly appreciate you transferring me to another SF office because there's no point going in to talk to anyone in your office! Too bad you couldn't turn this business opportunity around after the initial rough start like you hoped. This whole experience with you, your representatives and SF have been the worst experience ever with an insurance company."

"Hi Jerry, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, even though it is libelous. I will add the facts so people reading your defamatory words can determine for themselves who is in the wrong. On Feb 19th of this year, you purchased car insurance through one of my employees. The very next day, you filed a claim after being hit by a person insured by another insurance company. Rather than go through their insurance, you chose to go through your own policy. No problem, that is your prerogative, and we are happy to help. But that does limit some of your future options. On Feb 21, you dropped your vehicle at the body shop that you chose, and repair work began that same day. The shop completed repairs on Apr 5th, and you picked up your car that day. State Farm then paid the shop $18,892.09. Additionally, SF paid $1,473.62 to the rental car company, (which was the amount you chose for your policy). Because the accident was not your fault, State Farm then began subrogation, meaning that they are trying to recover both your deductible and other costs from the at fault insurance company. If any money is recovered, it will go to you first, and SF second (if any is left). Subrogation can take anywhere from several months to several years, and recovery is never guaranteed, but SF is right now attempting to bring you back to break even, within the terms of your policy contract. So to recap, State Farm has paid out over $20,000 on your behalf, for a policy that was in force for barely 24 hours. But that’s how insurance works, so again no worries, but it’s getting hard to see how I’m a con man. Part of subrogation is getting facts from our customer so that State Farm can try to recover money for you. Because the customer has the information, only the customer can provide the information. Today you walked in to my office and demanded that my office manager respond to our claims department on your behalf, but that you had already deleted their emails. When she offered to connect you with claims, you refused, and asked why State Farm had to make everything so difficult. You then left the office (without closing our front door), and left the above review. At this point we will still do everything in our power to help you settle this claim, but would invite you to find an alternate agent to handle your business going forward, and I will personally facilitate the transfer. "I stopped by their office to get a quote on my car. I was very happy with how I was treated by the staff. The agent that helped me was named Sam and she took her time to get me a fair quote and walk me through extra options tailored to me. "John Van Goethem, who works with Ryan Connor at Statefarm has been absolutely amazing when it comes to helping me with my Auto/Insurance Policies for the past few years. I have been in a few accidents and had to deal with the headaches that come with filing claims, however, John always makes it so easy for me to get through it with ease and clear knowledge of how the whole process works. He is very quick to answer my calls, texts, and questions about anything. He is even more knowledgeable than most when it comes to adjustments in claims because he previously worked in that field. "Really like these people! Jon has gone above and beyond to get me all the coverage I wanted at the best possible price. He is very informative and honest. It is nice to have such a knowledgeable person who you can rely on to give you honest insurance advice. Then there is Erin, she is so nice and informative as well. Always on top of things and so polite. Erin called me when saw a problem with my account and got it fixed before it affected my coverage and she also called to wish me a happy birthday. Great place. "So I've been on this Earth for a bit and have dealt with a lot of different insurance agents. I've had both car and home claims across multiple states. I've been in Central TX now for four years and as what usually happens when you move, you take on a new agent at someone else's recommendation. Let me be that recommendation for you. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences with Ryan and his staff. I ask a lot of questions. A lot of them are probably stupid. I always get back a quick answer from a friendly member of his staff. The big one though happened a few weeks back when a friend of mine suggested I probably had hail damage from the June storm. State Farm got an inspector out very quickly, assessed the damage and I had a money in my bank within a few days. My roof was fixed the following week and the remainder of the claim was in my bank two days after completion. I couldn't believe how smooth the process was. Now I'm sitting on my deck enjoying a nice pineapple beverage and admiring my new roof. No stress at all. Now, your mileage may vary but Ryan and his staff really are concerned about me as a customer. If you're new to the area or are just looking for a friendly agency that, quite frankly, is really on the ball, give Ryan and his great staff a chance."

"Well, here we go with garbage excuses as to why we are raising your rates with no clear-cut explanation.....but hey, let's compare homeowners insurance to buying eggs! This place and company has become just as ridiculous as any other major insurance company around. 0 out of 5 stars if I could...........EDIT....I did not hang up on anyone. I stated that I was not entertaining the conversation anymore because I was asking specific questions about my policy pertaining to the cost of certain parts of the homeowners cost and was not getting any answers, so I was not going to continue asking the same questions while getting an answer that did not make much sense and seemed to be a standard answer. I also said I would look at other companies because the cost did not match the value of the policy."

The reality of inflation as it pertains to both insurance and eggs is one that most people can relate to, but clearly not all. "I had a recent spat with some hail (and lost). It had been a long time since I made a claim, so I needed to familiarise myself with the process. Knowing that I was unfamiliar with the process, the staff were extremely patient and helpful. Being in the service industry all my life, I keep an eye out for teams or persons who go "outside their box" to help. Each of the staff at Ryan Connor State Farm Agency I encountered did just that and, in doing so, earned my continued loyalty to their service."

"Byron Tippie has been my insurance agent with State Farm since I bought my house in Burnet.
